Scott MacLeod spent much of the 1990s in Europe, doing performance art, producing arts festivals and renovating a small Czech house in an unsuccessful effort to create an artist residency center. These poems were made by dismantling and remixing lines from some of the hundreds of letters he received during that period; letters from people who became and remain close friends.
