American composer Michael Guy's Suite for Symphony orchestra based on his inventive impressionistic jazz piano music and recently orchestrated by him during 2011-12. This is the latest 2013 final edit which combines I. a short Prelude with II. called 'Diurnal Cycle'. This Seashore setting partly programmatic suite is a stirring, swelling hymn to the oceans which imagines a day at his favorite surf beach from just before dawn to twilight. The natural world of his fishing, surfing and nature-ocean experience of his youth in N.Y.'s Long Island & his adult life in Florida. Yes perhaps the comparitive pristine world of his imagination compared to today's continual degraded reality. Join this imaginative and original composer, he's seeking a conductor/music administrator-backer or mentor to help him gain his first public performance/recording of this great music. He's been studying and composing since his college days in the '70's. Contact him here or his facebook page.
