This book tells the story of a first-class chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated - the Phi Tau Omega chapter.
The Phi Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is a small body of metropolitan Atlanta professional women who serve four cities in southwestern Fulton County, Georgia (Fairburn, Hapeville, Palmetto, and Union City). It is part of a large and focused body of community servants dedicated to service to all mankind. The chapter's goal is to help mankind as it continues to grow and expand its community services to the cities they serve .
As members of the premiere service organization founded by Black women, Phi Tau Omega strives to continue the vision the Alpha Kappa Alpha founders set forth over 100 years ago.
