The falcon was chosen to be the mascot for the USAF Academy by the first class of cadets, the Class of 1959, the First Falcons. This book is not intended to be a historical account of the early years, but rather a recounting of memories from some of the members of that first class. Included are stories of good times, bad times, and pranks from the first four years of the AcademyÕs existence as recalled by some of those that were there.
