Five Moods continues the series of waltzes composed by guitarist Harry George Pellegrin. A tremolo study, A Prayer, was written for Dr. Frederic Hellwitz. It was useful to the composer to correct his own tremolo issues. (His 'a' fingernail had begun to flatten with age.)
