For Paul Signac is a piece for ensemble and video. It was commissioned by The Walden School for The Wet Ink Ensemble in 2009 and received its premiere in Dublin, NH that year. The text of the piece, the texture of the instrumental writing, and the images in the video are drawn from Signac's post-impressionist paintings.
