This thesis exportation aims to create new types of manufacturing facilities exploring how to diversify production in the city by initiating plurality in industry and architectural forms by having them work together. With a specific interest in how digital fabrication can open up micro cottage industries to become the backbone of this multiplicity and to coexist with the historic and current urban form. This new methodologyÕs goal is to prevent the homogeny that exists in cities by creating a new form architecture in order to ignite new modes of production, design, and innovation to help catalyze American cities and prevent future collapses.
