This is the first volume in the projected series, 'From the Music Pile'. The series intends to make available my own arrangements and transcriptions of pieces arranged first and foremost with the triple strung harp in mind. Even so, most of the pieces are equally playable on the pedal harp.
Included in the volume is a mixture of pieces spanning from the 16th century through to the early 20th century. the pieces come from a variety of sources including works for the guitar, harp, keyboard and lute.
Repertoire includes works by Isaac Albeniz, Barrios-Mangore, Sophia Corri, Claude Debussy, John Dowland, Jan Ladislav Dussek, Gabriel Faure, Johann Jacob Froberger, Georg Frederich Handel, Edward Jones, Jean-Baptiste Krumpholtz, Alonso Mudarra, Luis Narvaez, John Parry, Henry Purcell, and Robert De Visee.
