Tangkhul is a Naga tribe living in the Indo-Myanmar border area occupying the Ukhrul district in Manipur, India and the Somra Tangkhul hills (Somra tract) in Myanmar. Despite this international border, the Tangkhul have continued to regard them as one nation. They are playing a major role in the fight for the integration of all the Naga-dominated areas in Northeast India and Myanmar. The book gives an insight of the Tangkhul that includes its culture, tradition and present situation.
