The global health and wellness of the children under the age of five remains a major concern of
national leaders. Understanding the past trends, current status, and future global goals for
addressing the needs of children under the age of five will better equip us to create lasting and
global solutions to meet the health and wellness needs of our children. It is this authorÕs hope
that this study will produce the needed fuel to flame into being a global awareness that will evoke a serious enough response to produce lasting
and global solutions.
