An autobiography about taking the smallest opportunities in living and making a life. My parents may possibly have desired to make a whole loaf of cornbread with their crumbs from the masterÕs table. But in my opinion, they only ended up with half a loaf. From that half of a loaf from my parents, my brothers and I were then expected to make our own cornbread.
