We are not doing Israel, nor the Church, any favors by ignoring this yet-to-come prophetic fulfillment, along with many others as stated throughout the Scripture. _And this is not to say that we are not to render material and spiritual support to Israel._ We are!_ But it is to say that, to affirm Israel in its current spiritual condition is to preach "another gospel."_
We must acquire and maintain God's Divine perspective lest we reenact that same sobering exchange between Jesus and Peter,_
ÒFrom that time_Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and_suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised up on the third day._Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, ÒGod forbid_it, Lord! This shall never_happen to You.Ó "But He turned and said to Peter, ÒGet_behind_Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to_Me; for you are not setting your mind on GodÕs interests, but manÕs.Ó
We must be careful not to allow our love, passion and burden for Israel become a kind of infatuation that decreases our Divine perspective, while increasing our soulish perspective.
