Volume VIII of the Godwin Archives series continues the correspondence and keepsakes of the family of Enoch and Nollie Hill Godwin of the Long Cove community of Lampasas County in central Texas. Their nine children come of age and struggle to find employment in the Great Depression. Several are serving in and supporting the effort in World War II.
