Dr. Stacy, author of Sweetheart of Special Education, graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in English. She holds three Master's degrees: Special Education Generalist (PreK-12) and Curriculum & Instruction. She also holds a certification in Early Childhood (Pre-K) Intervention. Her depth of knowledge extends across the curriculum as she has taught every grade level in a variety of specialized settings for nearly two decades in four states. Her current role as an 18+Transition educator and an adjunct professor for a private university has afforded her further insight into special education practices. As a grateful co-founder and organizational member of SECO, Stacy continues to give back to the profession in meaningful ways.
