Grandmas is generational story about a families passage and their eternal love for each other. This story helps children to identify with a grandmother's role in a family and also to know that all Grandmas age, but they still do fun things and aren't that different from their grandchildren. We hope that this book will touch many children and their Grandmothers!
I am a Grandmother and a Great-Grandmother who found a lacking in the book market for a children's book that didn't depict the Grandmother as a decrepit and dying family figure. I wanted to create a more positive view of today's grandmothers. Many grandmothers today are a big part of their grand-children's lives, whether they are the caretakers, babysitters, or just an influential adult.
