This book is a journey a third of a century long. Back in 1986 when I saw my first mountain bike in a Japanese bicycle shop, my life took a completely different road into the future. I share here in some detail the trips, and tinkering with equipment that found a small group of us in Nagoya Japan, pushing the limits of touring cycling. By incorporating some mountain biking, using the backroads of Asia and beyond as our research and development departments, we were part of a bigger revolution in cycling that was yet to come, and in many ways we were an integral part of.
