The motivation behind Green Sheets Volumes 1 and 2 is to remember to not take life too seriously. Teaching is very fast-paced and feeling overwhelmed from too many unplanned circumstances could be a daily occurrence. However, I have learned that if I respectfully turn a stressful situation into an opportunity for laughter, anxiety dissipates and joy and gratitude increases. Although it is enjoyable to joke about the plethora of excuses I get from so many different types of Physical Education students, it is important to remember this:
ÒIt is better to offer no excuse than a bad one.Ó
