This book pays tribute to my parents, who settled in Gladstone Hollow, and founded the Grommeck Acres dairy farm and the Catskill Ski Center in Andes, New York. They, along with their peers, were part of what may have been the greatest generation any society has ever produced, and I am profoundly grateful for all they accomplished to give us the lives we have today. I tell some stories of how they raised their family and how growing up on a farm in Andes, New York influenced my life.
