In the style of an old-time film noir/gangster movie, Dean Leroy Simmons survives the 1930s the hard way - as a hardened street fighter. Along the way, he avenges the murder of his father. In the 1940s, he takes on a Jewish mobster and later becomes a private detective. As a private eye it seems he is settling into a safe life with his family until he has to go against the Chinese crime syndicate while his new wife becomes entangled with violent juvenile delinquents and their lust for heroin. It is a matter of survival or death.
