This book of poems and memoir are written by mountain school teens. The driving question of this learning is this: How can I feed hungry and homeless youth in my community: their heads? their hearts? their bodies? The writings are about their own kitchen, recalling funny times, somber times, and hard times. We will sell the book, and the proceeds will go to The Action Center, in Lakewood, Colorado. We intend to benefit their Grub Club program, which provides a three-day supply of food and hygiene products for homeless but emancipated teens.
