The authors, Dorothy and Fran, have been a writing team for many years with a concentration on history and genealogy. During this time, they have compiled and recorded the genealogies of twenty-two allied families produced for family and friends and reunion events. In addition they have written a number of articles appearing in other publications including the Journal of the Cape Cod Genealogical Society, Elder William Brewster Press, Cape newspapers, and historical societies. They developed extensive resource materials for adult classes taught on Pilgrims and Puritans.
Their previous publication, An Ordinary Man in Extraordinary Times, focused on the life of Colonel Charles E. Robinson, his military career during WWII and ten generations of Robinsons. The genealogy began with William Robinson living in Watertown, Mass in 1674 to the current day in addition to related families.
