This compilation of recipes was gathered by students at Anser Charter School in Boise, Idaho. Seeking stories of home - and the food that connects us to home - students interviewed more than twenty restaurant and market owners who had come to their community as refugees or immigrants. By sharing stories, students also discovered how food connects us as humans.
