Having a child in the hospital is one of the hardest things in life, whether it's a newborn in the NICU or if your child is sick or injured, or needing surgery. It's hard. It's overwhelming. They'll talk to you about medications and lab values. You'll have so many questions. In the midst of sleep deprivation and emotional overwhelm you'll try to stay cool and collected as you advocate for your child. This journal makes all of that a little easier and in the process creates a memoir of your stay you and your family can look back and process the journey of that season.
Each journal has enough pages for 2 weeks if your stay is longer or you expect multiple admissions I'd suggest ordering multiple journals.
Each day has a page for:
Self-care,
Communicating with nurses,
Communicating with doctors,
Tacking medications and labs,
Tracking intake and output, and
A daily summary.
Additionally, there's a weekly summary after 7 days of daily pages,
A journalling prompt list,
and 14 journalling pages.
