Hotel-branded residences have become an important part of the hotel development business and the residential real estate industry in the past ten years. The details of the business model are manifested in the agreements between the three stakeholders involved Ð hotel brands, hotel developers and homeowners. This masters dissertation was completed at Ecole h™teli�re de Lausanne, identifies the benefits and risks to the parties involved, documents the components of current practice in these agreements, and concludes with an analysis of whether each stakeholder is maximizing their benefits and risks through current practice.
