The Bible tells us to honor our mothers and our fathers. The greatest form of honor we can give to someone, or God, is to respect and obey their instructions. But contrary to that, the greatest dishonor we can give to a person, or God, is to reject and disobey their instructions. When we do that to God, God said that we Ôbring reproach on HimÕ and calls it Ôdespising His wordÕ (Numbers 15:30). Following PaulÕs writings, the church believes that salvation by grace and the keeping of GodÕs laws are mutually exclusive. Jesus didnÕt see it that way, he clearly and often called on us to keep GodÕs law and repent when we failed. The church has set JesusÕ instructions aside and devalued GodÕs commandments to suggestions, in order to embrace PaulÕs theology. Claiming that we are no longer under the law, the Christian Church has become ÔlawlessÕ. What will be the results of this condition?
