Dori the duck was born with one leg shorter than the other. The other animals in the pond won't talk or play with her because she is different. One day a strange thing happens all the other animals start getting sick and they stop eating. Only Dori stays well. She worries that if this strange illness continues all the animals might die. But then Dori comes up with a plan that not only saves the other animals but causes them to see her differently.
