Darren James Ferguson, a husband, a father, a son, a brother and so much more, has always had the will to win and has been doing so from a young age, when faced with his most traumatic challenge - Chronic Kidney Failure. At just 7 years of age, when doctors had already given up on him in hospital when his heart had stopped beating - three times - he somehow battled through. And yet, years later, after a long and painful journey, fighting depression and with failing kidney problems, Darren is still here, telling his story.
