Born in Paris, Claudine Harris lives in Iowa City. She was a technical writer at University Hospitals until 1993. She and her daughter, Niki Harris, created Scrivana Press.
Claudine has published two volumes of memoirs, Fragments of a Mosaic (2007) and Echospace (2009). In the Food Mood (2014) is her appreciation and experiences of cooking and eating.
Her collections of poetry and photography are Shorelines (2005), Gilbert Street and a Half (2006), exploring a single street, and Imaging Iowa City (2010), combining visual and word expressions.
Hues Blues & Views continues the displays of words and pictures that characterizes her poetic approach to art and language.
