'Human CompassionÕ is a book about the value of the creative arts to counteract inheritance or changes in personality which can appear at any time in life. These observations are my views as a visual artist and writer, as well as from ordinary experience. Many essays in poetry and other writings have been left for us. They contain biographies of people of talent, genius, and also manic disturbance. A blessing disguised sometimes as torment, privilege as well as a millstone, they can turn round as welcome changes in our lives
