This is a collection of recipes I grew up with and some that I found along the way to where I am now.(still growing, hopefully) Most recipes come from my dad's side of the family as this book was designed as a tribute to his mother when she turned 100 in 2004. In this way, the book is a relic of our heritage in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge. It is also a sampling of the warm feeling that people provide when they choose to prepare and share a favorite dish.
