ÒI am Young, Black and InspiredÓ was created to build childrenÕs confidence, self-esteem, imagination, and spirit. It seeks to remind and inspire children of color that they are worthy, beautiful, intelligent, and unique.
Black and brown kids need affirmations to remind them of their importance, reinforce values and confirm they are never alone. This book is written so that children can learn self-affirmations in an ÒI amÉÓ format and easily repeat them daily. These affirmations will assist in building childrenÕs awareness, acceptance, and self-love.
