Dr. Fred M. Holt DPh
Dr. Holt was born on January 3, 1947, in one of the poorest sections of the poorest county in Tennessee: Cocke County. Holt is the 7th child of 8; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Holt was abandoned by his parents at the age of 14 and became a professional gambler to survive. Holt won enough money in a poker game (66 hours straight) to pay most of his way through pharmacy school or he could not have gone. Holt has 6 different professions and has owned 13 different businesses. Holt has acted as his own attorney in several different lawsuits and won them all; one of them in the Appeals Court in Knoxville, TN.
Holt and his wife of 56 years; Victoria Valentine Holt, have two children: Mark M. Holt MD (Cardiologist), and Melanie Nolan R.N.
The one event in HoltÕs life that overshadows all others happened in the spring of 1997. God moved a Full Gospel-Pentecostal Preacher next door to Holt in Morristown, TN: Doug Cox. Holt went to CoxÕs church, New Direction, in Morristown, TN and got saved and has never looked back! And because of that, Holt has and is living the most incredible life that Holt never dreamed existed.
