Diane Hennessy, Director of Volunteers at the South Florida Science Museum of West Palm Beach Florida, chronicles her family's crises of 2004 in edited e-mails written as the challenges unfolded. She writes to other family members of her husband's emergency surgeries, cancellation of vacations, and struggles to cope with two direct hit hurricanes in three weeks, as well as their aftermath; while she continues to run a two hundred person volunteer department at the Science Museum. Her faith and resolve show through.
