Ice Cream in Her Pocket is a cleverly crafted and whimsically illustrated story about a 7-year-old girl who enjoys a very limited diet Ð ice cream. Her parents become distraught at their daughterÕs obsession, consult a doctor, and devise creative ways to offer her well-balanced nutrition, with little success. To their surprise they find that their childÕs experience Ð with a spoonful of peer pressure Ð leads her to decide to adjust her eating habits on her own.
