Kelly Hurtt is a long time educator. This is her first picture book. She was inspired to write this book when she took a walk at her local park with her son Lance and her daughter Brandee. ÒLooking up at all of those trees made me think about how old the trees were and how the world around them has changed. If trees could talk, what would they say?
