ÒImpressions in PrintÓ is an art exhibition at The David Mikow Art Gallery from
April 22 to May 27 2016 showing print media works by UMBC art students. All
hand-pulled prints are created with the traditional and photographic processes of
intaglio drypoint, relief (linoleum cut), monotype, lithography, and screenprinting. This exhibition features 41 print media works by 27 students whose diverse subject
matter include portraiture and the body, still life, landscapes: imaginary and visionary,
political and social commentary, and works influenced by cultural iconography
and history.
