The wars fought between the Napoleonic Empire and the Allied forces of the Coalition brought forth an enormous volume of French documents both in print and/or through handwritten letters of combatants, a literary world of its own that keeps on growing every year. This book provides 'new' recollections which were translated into English, with the idea to benefit non-French speaking enthusiasts of the Napoleonic period to gain a greater understanding of the struggles that took place between 1805 and 1814.
