In this book Anthony J. Fejfar transcends the position taken in his earlier Boston College Law Review article dealing with Jesuit philospher Bernard Lonergan's critical realism appied to Jurisprudence. While incorporating and integrating much of Lonergan's work, Fejfar charts a new course utilizing a new metaphysics and the new Universal Natural Law Ethical tool which Fejfar has developed, called, "The Ethical Matrix."
