Readers of "Fortune, Fame or Faith" will experience God in a new way- watching him work through prayers. The African-American protagonist, Terrence Wilks,aches for his music career to bring him the money and recognition he feels he deserves. He heads to Atlanta to record a studio album, leaving behind Nicole, the writer who desires his heart.
In Atlanta, he joins up with Lironomy, a Texan rock band whose members lack his work ethic. After a series of unproductive rehearsals, the stress causes him to fail. At this point, the Devil declares victory over Terrence's life and sends a series of temptations his way. Nicky, continues to pray for him, to hope for their future.
Haunted by Iris's ghost, Nascha, despite success as lead singer in a hip hop trio, has a drug problem and dependency issues. they partner with Lironomy, Terrence's career kicks off. Success however, makes him long for true love. Fame and fortune, he discovers, are not sufficient. What Terrence really needs, he discovers, is faith.
