Everett Raymond Kinstler (b. 1926) is best known today for his painting, including the official portraits of Gerald Ford and Ronald Reagan ---- but his immortal legacy will always be his comic book work. Kinstler created hundreds of pulp covers, and his comic work is considered among the best of the day Ð to some, THE best. Kinstler's early work covered many comic art genres before he settled in during the early 1950s as a western specialist. During the years 1951-1953 Kinstler penned a wide array of contents pages for Avon comics, covering everything from western to science fiction, from romance to horror and more. This collection features over 80 of those incredible piece of art, collected into one book for the first time ever!
We are missing the contents page from Realistic Romances #2 (1951). It is possible there are other Kinstler content pages out there which we have not yet identified; if you know of any, contact us for great rewards!
These pages show the age and wear of 70 years. We have done our best to make them clear without affecting the Kinstler lines. We hope you will appreciate their imperfect authenticity.
