Memoir of a World War II prisoner of Germany from July 1944 to his liberation April 13, 1945. He was in several POW Stalags after being captured near St. Lo, France. While a POW he sought ways not only to escape but also ways in which he could sabotage his assigned work to slow down Germany's effects on the Allied war efforts.
