Italy at a Snail's Pace tells the story of an eccentric couple making an eccentric journey in an eccentric car - first from the centre of France to Piedmont in Italy, and then from the tip to toe of Italy. Driving only on the tiniest roads possible, their route takes therm way off the beaten track, enabling them to appreciate the real Italy, including stunning countryside as well as memorable food.
