An autobiographical work and history of Mexican-American families from Mexico and Texas. The history begins in the mid-1800's and goes into the 21st century. The writing covers the Rodriguez and Mata families as well as the Kristiansen family, a Danish European family through the marriage of the author to a Danish woman. The 370 page book contains many color and black and white pictures to complement the narrative aspects of the book.
