A man's life, from his birth in London in 1931, to the happy life he leads today. The journey starts with the trauma of family separation, through the evacuee program in World War II, then running away to sea at 16 to find adventure, before falling in love, joining the army at 18, and going to war in Malaya, just to keep that new found love alive. Then, after his return from this now forgotten war, Ron shares his life over the next 60 years. As in all lives there are high, lows, and decisions he made that in glorious hindsight may have been made differently today.
