The IwŽ Illanan is a handbook for aspiring African dance teachers. It provides dance teachers with rudimentary information on how to share the Umfundalai technique of contemporary African dance. It includes history, description of Umfundalai's core movement vocabulary, and lists of recommended reading material and certified Umfundalai instructors.
