The author had a unique 40 year business career working with top corporate executive officers throughout the world. His first international experience was to Japan in 1975 to find air conditioning investment opportunities for The Trane Company.
Later he worked for two Trane Presidents in a position that had him in worldwide monthly business operating reviews of manufacturing facilities and sales offices. On a yearly basis he participated in all strategy, planning and budget meetings. He made acquisition presentations to Trane's Board of Directors and American Standard's Executive Officers.
Responsible for Trane's strategy and planning efforts, he spent two years with The Boston Consulting Group developing Trane's planning process.
