This publication is the output of the design work made by ILA&UD (International Laboratory of Architecture and Urban Design), held in Jericho, Palestine, in 2013. The most ancient city in the world, which is still an oasis, owes its existence to the delicate relationship with water through millennia, thus building a landscape full of historic, cultural and environmental values. The Wadi Quelt is a water stream, mainly dry during the year, that crosses the city, connecting Jericho to the mountain chain to East with the Jordan river to West. The laboratory focused on this topic as a chance to suggest possible ways to revaluate territory and landscape.
