Author Joy Knowlton gives you a glimpse of what it was like growing up in the housing projects with a mother fighting addictions. Living in this environment showed Joy a life she knew she had to change. After having her life documented on TLCÕs Police Women Of Memphis, Joy wanted to do more to inspire others. Joy believes that making the right life choices can entitle you to a sense of freedom and hopes to motivate all to uncuff themselves too and set themselves free from their own personal bondage.
