This is my story, Ben A. Smith. I am a native of Shellman, Georgia. I was born in the 1930Õ in the rural south. I have experienced many prejudices of segregation and discrimination. This did not stop me from striving for success. I knew there was a better life for me. At eighteen, I moved north to make my mark. My experience has been excellent. God has been good to my family and me.
