KEEP YOUR POWDER DRY is the history of the 181st Infantry Regiment, the historic Sixth Massachusetts. Founded in 1636, in nearly four hundred years its soldiers have served from Concord, Massachusetts to Kabul, Afghanistan and beyond. The story of this regiment precedes the birth of the United States by 140 years. The route from Indian fights at Plymouth Colony to security missions in Iraq is as long as that from the Puritan settlers to the Americans of today. It is truly an epic story.
